I am happy to announce that CHLOROPHYTER: HERBAL ASSAULT! a 2D indie Fighting Game about House Plants, is in development and coming along nicely.
It is a simple fighting game made on the open source Ikemen GO engine. Check out some early footage complete with royalty free music!
The game only uses a single button for attacks, despite this, the game still uses traditional fighting game commands, so characters have surprisingly large and varied movepools. Another unique feature of this game is Sunlight. Plants need sunlight to use their attacks. Not only that, they need it to run and block too. Plants use sunlight for everything. You automatically gain sunlight during the course of the match, but each plant also features unique methods for gaining sunlight more quickly. For example the Sunflower can stretch out really tall and gather sunlight twice as quickly so long as she holds the pose. The robot flower (yes, robot flower) can place down solar panels on the stage to increase her solar power.
The game is planned to feature 10 playable house plants, an arcade mode with unique stories for each plant, a boss fight, online play (currently planned to be P2P. Matchmaking and rollback are currently out of reach for me.), and a few bonus game modes.

So there has been a lot less content here lately. Passer and I have been hard at work… at our day jobs… so there hasn’t been much to show off right now.
Truthfully we are working on something, and soon I believe I will start showing off the progress here.
We are working on a video game. (possibly 2 video games) It is a slow and daunting task, and has slowed comic work tremendously. Passer still tries to work on her pages periodically, but mine has grinded to a halt.
I promise Tad Danger isn’t over. I am just eager to take a quick side quest.

Not that I have sold anything in months, its worth noting here, the shop is currently down. Teespring is not fulfilling orders for anyone. We actually ordered a sample for ourselves and have found out we are totally screwed.
So I took the store down, that way I wont get blamed for their incompetence.
And to add salt to the wound, Teespring doesn’t allow you to delete listings or storefronts. I presume that way they can still profit off all your stuff long after you’ve given up on using them. Nice. So I ensured that all the designs were made private so that no one can order them.
We’ll get a new shop set up, eventually. Not much of a rush since we are still complete literal whos. No one will notice. Cest La Vie.
